What a caring, patient, and knowledgeable midwife!
I chose to have my baby at home and started the hunt for a midwife. The first time I met with Carmen, I knew she was the one. She offers amazing prenatal care, including all aspects of wellness. She sat and talked with me, answered any questions I had, and worked on building a positive relationship. (And basically force fed me eggs. No, we don’t need to add that, but I want you to know how I really feel! Ha!).
When the baby decided to it was time, I was comfortable with Carmen and I trusted her. Since baby decided to come a little early, I was not as mentally prepared as I wanted to be. Carmen was calm and reassuring and helped me give birth to a beautiful baby boy.
The real reason that Carmen is so amazing is the care I received after having the baby. I honestly don’t know how my husband and I would have survived the first few weeks without Carmen’s love, support, and care. She was there when I needed help breastfeeding. She was there when I needed emotional support. She was there when I needed peace of mind weight checks. She was there for me, my husband, and my baby.
Without hesitation, she was there for us. I genuinely appreciate everything Carmen has done for us. She gave my baby the best possible start to life, and I couldn’t have asked for anything more.
